As part of One O One’s continued commitment to our local communities, we recently supported St. John Paul II Primary School in Castlemilk with their first-ever Summer Fayre.
Chocolate bars, juice, crisps and gift cards were donated for the free event, organised by the Primary School’s Parent Council, and which included; Beat The Goalie, Splat The Teacher, Face Painting, Bracelet Making, Food Stalls plus Live Entertainment. A total of £500 was raised across the day that will be used to provide experiences for pupils across the next academic year.
Mrs McBride, Teacher at St. John Paul II Primary, said: “The purpose of our school fayre was to bring our community together and provide our children with an enjoyable and memorable experience. With the help of the One O One, the majority of the fayre activities were free for our children to enjoy and with your kind donations we were able to provide children free drinks and snacks on the day. It was a very successful first summer fayre which our children, their families and the community thoroughly enjoyed. I am sure it will become a yearly tradition. Once again I cannot thank One O One enough for your support and extremely generous donations. We are beyond grateful.”
